Brianne Jenner is one of the most decorated players in Team Canada history, and was the inaugural captain of the PWHL’s Ottawa Charge. Jenner was signed to a three-year contract with PWHL Ottawa prior to the inaugural season.
Prior to college, Jenner won two silver medals with Canada’s U-18 national team at the U-18 World Championships, including captaining Canada’s entry in 2009. Jenner played her NCAA women’s hockey at Cornell where she was twice an All-American and Patty Kazmaier nominee. Jenner scored 228 points in 129 NCAA games.
While in the NCAA, Jenner made her Canadian senior national team debut winning her first gold at the 2012 World Championships. Since then, Jenner has won two Olympic gold medals including being named the 2022 Olympic Games MVP. In total, Jenner has more than a dozen medals representing Canada.
Professionally, Jenner began her career in the CWHL with the Calgary Inferno. She won two Clarkson Cups with Calgary in 2016 and 2019. Following the CWHL, Jenner joined the PWHPA. She finished her PWHPA Dream Gap Tour time as a member of Team Sonnet.
When the PWHL was announced, Jenner was one of the 18 players who avoided the draft signing prior to the inaugural PWHL Draft.
