Founded in 2025, Dub Hockey is the product of several media members, from podcasters, to writers, and broadcasters, who recognized the need for more dedicated women’s hockey coverage. The launch of the PWHL in 2024 was historic and marked a new chapter in the on-ice product for women’s hockey. Dub Hockey marks a new chapter for the off-ice coverage of women’s hockey, not only at the PWHL level, but NCAA, IIHF, U Sports, SDHL, prospects, and more.
Dub Hockey is committed to telling diverse stories about women and girls in hockey at all levels from all nations. An LGBTQ+ supportive and inclusive community, Dub Hockey aims to remove barriers in hockey and to provide representation for women of color, and women in the LGBTQ+ community.
Along with sharing the stories of women’s hockey teams, organizations, leagues, and players from across the globe, Dub Hockey is committed to going beyond the scoreboard. Dub will discuss the ongoing issues in the sport while respecting the ethics and standards of journalism.
