Aneta Tejralova | PWHL

From Praha, Czechia, Aneta Tejralova is one of the top European defenders in the world. Tejralova was the 41st overall pick in the 7th round of the 2023 Draft by PWHL Ottawa. She’s currently a member of the Ottawa Charge.

Tejralova was paramount to the development of Czechia as one of the top women’s hockey national teams in the world. She helped Czechia earn promotion at the U-18 World Championships helping them out of the Division 1A, including as team captain. While playing at the U-18 level, Tejralova joined Czechia’s senior national team in 2012. In 2015, Tejralova won Best Defender at the Division 1A World Championships, helping Czechia win gold and earn promotion. In 2022, she won a historic bronze medal with Czechia, their first ever medal at the top division of the World Championships.

After playing domestically in Czechia, Tejralova headed to Russia playing in the ZhHL beginning in 2014-15 with Dynamo St. Petersburg. She later shifted to SKIF Nizhny Novgorod. She twice led Russia’s league in scoring by a defender.

In 2022-2023, Aneta Tejarlova made her debut in North America playing for the PHF’s Boston Pride. Ahead of the 2023 World Championships, Tejralova became captain of Czechia’s national team. After being selected by the Ottawa Charge in the PWHL draft, Tejralova signed a two-year contract with her new team.
