Alina Muller | PWHL

Alina Muller is a professional women’s hockey player from Winterthur, Switzerland. Muller currently plays for the PWHL’s Boston Fleet.

Muller spent most of her youth playing boys’ hockey. She represented Switzerland four times at the U-18 World Championships. At the U-18 Worlds, Muller won Best Forward in 2013, 2014, and 2016. She was a tournament All-Star in 2016 leading the U-18 tournament in scoring.

In her final season in Switzerland in 2018, Muller played in the nation’s top women’s league with ZSC Lions. She won the Swiss league title that season, and led the league in goals (33), and points (57) in 17 games. Muller was the Swiss Ice Hockey Woman of the Year in 2018 for the first time.

Internationally, Muller made her senior national team debut for Switzerland at the 2014 Olympic Games. Muller led the 2018 Olympics in scoring earning tournament All-Star, and Best Forward honors.

Collegiately, Muller played for Northeastern University beginning in 2018-19. Muller was an All-American in all five seasons with the Huskies. She was also a Patty Kazmaier Award nominee five times. In 159 career games with Northeastern Muller totalled 254 points.

At the inaugural PWHL Draft, Muller was the 3rd overall pick of the Boston Fleet. That season, Muller was named to the PWHL’s All-Rookie Team.
