Corinne Schroeder is a professional women’s hockey player from Elm Creek, Manitoba. The 5-foot-11 netminder currently plays for the PWHL’s New York Sirens.
Schroeder spent the first four seasons of the NCAA women’s hockey career playing for Boston University. She transferred to Quinnipiac for her graduate year. In 120 career NCAA games, Schroeder recorded a .939 save percentage and 1.69 GAA.
Following her collegiate career, Schroeder turned pro with the PHF’s Boston Pride. Schroeder’s rookie campaign was highly decorated. She posted the league’s best GAA at 1.67 and save percentage at .955. Recording a 19-1-0 record and seven shutouts with the Pride, Schroeder was named the PHF’s Goaltender of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
When the PHF was acquired, Schroeder declared for the PWHL Draft. At the draft, Schroeder was selected 33rd overall by the New York Sirens. As New York’s starter in their inaugural season, Schroeder posted a .930 save percentage, and recorded the first shutout in league history. She was a finalist for the PWHL’s goaltender of the year.
