The NCAA has named their 2025 CCM/AHCA women’s hockey All-American teams. The First Team is well represented by members of the #1 Wisconsin Badgers who had four players represented.

That group included Casey O’Brien, who led the NCAA in scoring and set a new Wisconsin single season mark when she recorded her 88th point in the Frozen Four semi-finals. She was joined by Caroline Harvey, who was the NCAA’s leading scorer among defenders, and Laila Edwards who topped all NCAA goal scorers with 34 goals.

O’Brien, Edwards, and Harvey were the top three finalists for the 2025 Patty Kazmaier Award.

Kirsten Simms, another Wisconsin forward, Clarkson’s Haley Winn, and netminder Eve Gascon from the University of Minnesota-Duluth rounded out the First Team All-Americans.

Defenders Nicole Gosling (Clarkson) and Emma Peschel (Ohio State) are Second Team All-Americans. Netminder Cornell Annelies Bergmann was also named to the Second Team, as were forwards Abbey Murphy (Minnesota), Tessa Janecke (Penn State), and Kristýna Kaltounková (Colgate) rounded out the Second Team.

Janecke, Murphy, Simms, Harvey, and Edwards were all recently named to Team USA’s World Championship roster. On the Canadian side, only Eve Gascon got the call from her national team. Kaltounková, the only non-North American named an NCAA All-American will represent Czechia at the World Championships.
