USA Hockey named their 2025 World Championship roster. The 2025 women’s World Championships are set to take place this April in České Budějovice.

USA brings experience to this tournament with 23 members having previously competed at World Championship competitions.

“The 25 players selected to represent the U.S. bring skill, talent and passion on the ice,” said Katie Million general manager of USA’s national women’s team and director of women’s national team programs for USA Hockey. “The depth of our player pool never makes these decisions easy, but we’re excited to shift our focus on bringing a gold home from Czechia.”

USA will return Hilary Knight, Alex Carpenter, Britta Curl-Salemme, Kendall Coyne Schofield, Kelly Pannek, Lacey Eden, Hayley Scamurra, Tessa Janecke, Kirsten Simms, Taylor Heise, Joy Dunne, and Abbey Murphy to their forward group from their 2024 World Championship roster. Jesse Compher and Grace Zumwinkle will also make their return to Team USA.

On the back end, Lee Stecklein returns to Team USA, and Anna Wilgren will make her World Championship debut. USA also welcomes back Cayla Barnes, Megan Keller, Caroline Harvey, Laila Edwards, Haley Winn, and Savannah Harmon.

“The team we’ve selected brings a level of excitement and skill to the ice,” said John Wroblewski, USA’s head coach. “We’re confident in this group and excited to head to České Budějovice.”

In net Aerin Frankel will be counted on as USA’s starter. They also bring Ottawa Charge netminder Gwyneth Philips, and Wisconsin goalie Ava McNaughton.
